Would you like to help preserve the architectural
splendor and the magnificent landscape that is Lyndhurst? You can do this
by joining the Friends of Lyndhurst, a membership organization that was
created in 1981. By signing up now you can play an important role in saving
this National Historic Landmark estate for your own enjoyment and for the
pleasure of future generations.

The Friends of Lyndhurst have funded many
preservation projects in the mansion and on the property including:
- Restoration of faux marble walls
in the Entrance Hall
- Purchase and preservation of furnishings,
including the
Gould piano in the Reception Room
- Restoration of the Lily Fountain
in the Greenhouse
- Care and maintenance of the magnificent
copper beech trees
- Purchase of lanterns for the Carriage
House
- Reproduction of William Paulding

HOW TO JOIN
Print out the Membership
Form and check the membership category of your choice, and fill
out the information. Make your check out to Lyndhurst and
mail it with this form to
Lyndhurst, 635 South Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591. Your Lyndhurst
membership card, National Trust membership card, and next issues
of The Friends Journal and Preservation Magazine will
be mailed to you.
